After the Blizzard on Broadway

Snow is piled high on the east side of Broadway, just north of Front Street (Main Avenue), after a blizzard in the winter of 1951-’52.  A damaging spring flood would follow in the Spring of 1952. There are many more photos of this blizzard, and the flood that followed, in the book.

The Bell State Bank building is the only remaining structure on the east side of Broadway between Main Avenue and NP Avenue.
